When assisting a resident to ambulate (walk) using a walker, where should you position yourself?

To the side and slightly behind the resident, on their weaker side. A CNA should position themselves on the resident's weaker or affected side and slightly behind to provide support and catch them if they lose balance. Being in front blocks their view and movement. Being only behind prevents lateral support. Being on the stronger side is less helpful for safety.
